I was born in 1987 in St. Petersburg, but I live in Odessa. As I child I was fond of pottery, batic, painting, linocut, and fine arts. I was interested in history of arts as well. This made a profound impact on my career choices in the future.
Later on I got a “decent education” in innovation management at Odessa Polytechnic institute. My studies, however, have not prevented me spending four years in the “Odessa’s Placard” magazine — as an illustrator at first, and as a journalist (“Galleries” column) later on.
I’ve been a serious painter since 2006. I work at my studio in contemporary art center “Tea factory”. I take part in art exhibits both personal and collective. As an illustrator I work with the Canadian internet agency “ImageZoo”.
As an artist I paint on canvas and walls, as an illustrator I work with paper and computer, and as a make-up artist I use faces and bodies as my medium. I actively combine different techniques and styles. In illustrations I often use Japanese graphics and art-deco. I am inspired by works of James Jean, Yana Moskalyuk and also classic pin-up art. ↑↑
